To Educate & Inform People – People Helping People.

What about your words.

Hi

We often limit ourselves by what we say to ourselves, and to others.

Things like:

”I can’t seem to get out of this hole”
“We can’t go on for much longer”
‘I don’t know what I’m going to do”

Have you ever noticed how you say to yourself: “I can’t do that”. And then 2 hours, 2 days or 2 months later you have done it?
Why even say it in the first place?

Rather say: “I can do that!”

The words we say can be like dirt in the carburettor of a motor car. They slow us down and make us splutter instead of going like a rocket.

Keep reminding yourself that you can.

Affirmations:
I encourage myself
I don’t limit myself
I can do anything

What does having a success mindset mean?

 Hi

Having a success mindset, means that you have an absolute certainty (you have no doubt) and you expect to be successful in every facet of your life: personal, career, marriage, family, finances, material possessions and friendships. In other words, in your heart and mind, you are absolutely certain that you can and will succeed in every one of these areas.

It also means that you think big (Much happiness, great wealth, big achievements).

You don’t have a dustbin-mentality (a belief that your life is always tough and you can never achieve anything), but a success mentality.

You live with your mind constantly tuned to a success frequency. You only think that you will succeed at everything that you attempt. When someone suggests that you may fail you wonder where they come from, because for you everything is possible.

Start believing that you will succeed.

Affirmations:
I have an absolute certainty that I will be successful
I always think big
I succeed at everything I attempt

This will help you reach your goals.

 Hi

When it comes to achieving a goals, getting started can sometimes be the hardest part. Here’s something you can do to help you get started.

Set a date to start working. Many people fail because they never start. They consider the task too huge and daunting that they quit even before taking the first action step. Don’t let this happen to you. Your greatest goals can be achieved.

No matter how daunting your goals may be, you can accomplish them. But you have to start.

To help you get started there are 3 things to do:
1. It starts with making a decision to start – funny as that sounds. Once you have decided to start, starting becomes a lot easier. So make that decision right now. Decide to start working towards your goals.
Have you decided?
GOOD!
2. Set a date to start. Decide when you will start planning (or working if you already have made plans). Set a date within the next 30 days, maybe within the next 2 weeks if it is really an important goal.
When will you start?
3. Remind yourself continually that you have decided to start and when. The mind is powerful and by the time your start-date arrives, you will be ready to get to work with enthusiasm.

Once the ball is rolling, so-to-speak, it will pick up momentum by itself. The mere fact that you are then taking action will inspire you to continue. It is like an invisible power takes hold of you and says: “Come let’s do a bit more”. Listen to that voice inside yourself.

“A journey of 1000 miles starts with the first step.” – Chinese Proverb

Affirmations:
I have set a date to start on my goals
My mind is being prepared for action
I will achieve my goals

I just did this.

“People of mediocre ability sometimes achieve outstanding success because they don’t know when to quit. Most people succeed because they are determined to.” – George Allen

I’m so ordinary, that if you meet me you will actually be disappointed. But I have succeeded because of determination (and a belief that I can). You can too.

Affirmations:
I achieve outstanding success
I am determined
I just keep going on

One-on-one time. Very important.

Hi.

Nothing builds relationships as well as spending time alone with people. Plan to spend some one-on-one time with each family member regularly.

If you have never done it, you will be surprised just how powerful it can be. I find when I am alone with only one of my children, I have much more patience and can focus better on their conversation.

One Saturday morning/afternoon per month with each child. Have your children decide what they would like to do with you. Anything (that the budget allows) goes.

Use this time to catch up on where your child is at. Talk about the future, the past and any concerns or frustrations. This is not a time for advice-giving. Just listen and empathize. Give advice only when asked for – especially with teens. Ask them what they think they can do about a problem. You may be pleasantly surprised at the wisdom of your child as you allow him/her to come up with his/her own solutions. Guide their thinking with suggestions not prescriptions.

Try to spend at least a few minutes every day alone with each child. Start with 5 minutes, and try to build it up to 15 – 20 minutes every day. Teenagers need such time with their parents especially. Time without lectures or discipline, to build the relationship stronger. Because of homework and extra curricular activities, you may have less or no time on some days. But do your best to spend some one-on-one time with each child regularly.

Lastly. It is essential that you spend one-on-one time with your spouse every day. Your spouse should be first on the priority list, before the children. Fifteen minutes after work or before bed-time, to chat about the day and where you are at, can make a huge difference in your marriage.

Use this powerful technique to improve all your relationships.

Be all you can be.

Move out of your comfort zone. Very good advice from Arnfried.

Personal contact is so important when trying to grow an income matrix. Speaking to people, just to make that first contact and establish a relationship, is essential. But you may not feel comfortable speaking to strangers about Be Motivated Today.

Remember: you don’t need to convince others to do anything. But I would like to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and just start speaking to strangers in the shopping queue, or anywhere where you stand and wait to be served. Start by just mentioning the weather. Next time, as you feel more comfortable, talk about how expensive everything is. Once you find that easier, next time mention that you have found a company that helps people financially (after speaking about how expensive everything is). Ask them for their email address and send them the Invitation Email.

It is always good to get out of one’s comfort zones, because it helps you get ready to release more of your potential.

Affirmations:
I am confident
I can speak to strangers
I have what it takes

A powerful People Skill

A powerful and important people skill that will help you improve your relationships, and have people like you more, is showing empathy. Showing empathy means expressing understanding for what a person is going through. It shows that you care.

For Example. When someone bumps themselves on a corner of the desk. Don’t start telling them how they “must be careful next time and how lucky they were because the same thing happened to John last week and he got five stitches!” That’s not what they need to hear. And it might really frustrate them. Rather empathize and ask if they are OK. Say, “I know how sore that can be, I really feel for you. Can I get you some ice for that bump.”

This shows that you care and would preclude a conflict even if it was your fault.
For Example. If you had bumped into someone by mistake or knocked them over. Don’t say, “Didn’t you see me coming?” Its not what they need to hear at that moment. Rather say: “I’m so sorry, I nearly sent you flying. Are you ok?”

Let this skill make you more popular and liked, Shaun!

Affirmations:
I have empathy for others
I can understand how others feel
I am popular and well-liked
